Cancer support

Resources

I’ve created this guide to bring together trusted local and national resources that may support people living with and beyond cancer. My hope is that it helps you find clear, patient-friendly information and services that can offer practical, emotional and wellbeing support during and after treatment.

This resource list is intended to support and signpost to sites I have found useful.  Always discuss new treatments, supplements or therapies with your oncology or healthcare team.

I’m delighted to partner with the Women’s Hormone Clinic, who provide clear, evidence-based information and specialist support for women going through menopause, including women who have experienced cancer.

This partnership is personal to me. The clinic supported me through a particularly difficult stage of my own menopause journey. I found their approach thorough, trustworthy and reassuring, and they helped me understand the different options available to me.

By working together, we can offer women more joined-up support. Acupuncture can provide a non-pharmaceutical option, while the clinic offers specialist medical treatment and counselling. Where appropriate, we can refer between our services, helping each woman find the support that feels right for her.
